At least there are people having fun with politics somewhere. Takaaki Mitsuhashi, an economic commentator, recently held a cosplay party at the headquarters for Japan's Liberal Democratic Party. Who did he dress up as? None other than Gendo Ikari from Evangelion. Let's hope there weren't any nefarious schemes involved.

Like many MMOs, Guild Wars has its share of cheaters. The staff recently banned 3,700 cheat accounts, which isn't really all that spectacular by itself. So what made this mass banning different? Cheaters were killed off publicly with Dhuum, a giant Grim Reaper character, who came up from the ground and mowed them down for all to see. I think that reaper is slightly feared.
